Janet Sue Janzen, age 81, passed away on Sunday, January 25, 2026.
Janet was preceded in death by her parents, Vic and Frances (Jones) Janzen; her brother, Howard Janzen; and her sister-in-law, Charlotte (Cummings) Janzen. She is survived by her nephew, Kelly Janzen, and her niece, Kim Janzen.
Janet worked for National Linen for 40 years, a testament to her dedication and strong work ethic. During that time, she missed only two days of work, something she was quietly proud of, and which spoke volumes about her character.
Not only was she faithful in her work, but she was also faithful to her God. Her faith was not something she spoke loudly about, but something she lived quietly and consistently. She cherished her Bible study and found real joy in attending Friendship Baptist Church. Her church family meant so much to her, and through it she formed deep, meaningful friendships - including with those who lovingly picked her up and brought her home. She was truly grateful for the people God placed in her life and often expressed her gratitude to them and to the Lord.
The family extends a special thank you to Janet’s church family and Bible study group for their immense love, care, and compassion. Janet loved you all so much, and your support meant the world to her.
