South Bound brook, NJ – Janet Mae (nee Jeremiah) Kraska, 79, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at Regency Jewish Heritage Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Somerset, NJ with loving family by her side. Born at home in Manville, NJ, daughter of the late Norman and Eva May (nee Pickering) Jeremiah, she spent her younger years in Manville before settling in South Bound Brook in 1972.
Janet retired after last working for over eight years at the Walmart Supercenter in Manville as a department manager. She enjoyed time spent playing bingo with friends, playing computer games, and reading. She loved watching old time Western movies and spending time with her family.
Besides her parents, Janet was predeceased by three brothers, Norman Jeremiah, Harold "Butch" Jeremiah, and Glenn Jeremiah; and a grandson, Nicholas Herholz.
Janet is survived and will be deeply missed by her beloved husband of fifty-five years, Richard Kraska, and with whom she joined hands in marriage on November 28, 1969; two loving children, Sherri and her husband, Steve Maruscsak of Somerset and Richard Kraska and his significant other, Jayme Moskal of Somerset; a dear brother Gary Jeremiah; three cherished grandchildren, Jeremy Kraska, Amanda Herholz, and Carly Herholz; and brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, and several nieces and nephews.
