Janet K. L'Esperance

Janet K. L'Esperance (nee Kortman), age 90, of Washington Twp., NJ, formerly of Williamstown, passed away on December 11, 2025.

Janet worked ambitiously as an Administrative Assistant to the President at Camden County College for 25 years before retiring. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, baking, and being the family photographer. She could often be found watching the Home Shopping Network and QVC, finding treasures for her loved ones. Janet cherished holiday dinners and time spent with family.

Beloved wife of the late Leroy D. L'Esperance, Jr. Devoted mother of Leroy D. L'Esperance, III (Susan) and Kenneth L'Esperance (Kathryn). Loving grandmother of Brittany (John), Evan (Ashley), Arielle (William), and Elyse (Brett). Proud great grandmother of John IV, Adelaide Leigh, and Brock Joseph. Dear sister of the late Charles Kortman and sister-like cousin of Mary Lou Hagerty. She is also survived by loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Monday, December 22nd from 9:30 – 11:00 AM at the Farnelli Funeral Home, 504 N. Main Street, Williamstown, where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Brotherhood Cemetery, Williamstown.
