Janet M. Lamb

Janet M. Lamb, age 77, of Scottsburg, passed away Thursday, January 1 at Baptist Health Floyd. Janet was born April 17, 1948 in Livonia, Indiana, the daughter of Lester and Olive Rutherford. She was a teacher in Augusta, Georgia. She attended Salem Church of Christ and Mt. Hebron Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband: Chester L. Lamb, her parents, two brothers: Larry and Donald Rutherford, two brother-in-laws: Lloyd and John Lamb, and a sister-in-law: Barbara Lamb. Janet is survived by her daughter: Christina Lamb of Scottsburg, five grandchildren: Ariana, Emma, Anakin, Allanon, and Valerian, a brother: Rodney Rutherford (Brenda) of Powell, Tennessee, and three sister-in-laws: Linda Rutherford of Livonia, Carol Rutherford of Scottsburg and Rayetta Lamb of Bloomington, amd several nieces and nephews. Cremation was chosen and burial will be at a later date in Hardinsburg Cemetery.
