Janet Lauber, 74, of Fond du Lac, died Thursday, March 27, 2025 at St. Agnes Hospital. She was born February 22, 1951 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Ralph and Shirley Ninneman Leemon. On November 11, 1972 she married Joseph Lauber at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Lomira. She worked many years as a custodian for the Lomira School District and also housekeeping at Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh. She enjoyed diamond art, going to the casino, and loved spending time with her grandchildren and going to their sporting events.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph; three children, Christina (Jonathan) Westphal, Heidi Jolly, and Michael (Samantha) Lauber; seven grandchildren, Benjamin and Gwendolyn Westphal, Alex and Shawn Jolly, Rylan, Levi, and Landon Lauber; three sisters, Karen (Randy Robenhorst) Yerges, Patti (Roger) Kirchner, and Sandi Holt; sister-in-law, Mary Jo Leemon; nieces, nephews, and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant daughter, Terri; brother, Larry Leemon; and sister, Sharon (Wayne) Dworschak.
The visitation will be held Wednesday, April 2, 2025 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Holy Family Church, 271 Fourth Street Way in Fond du Lac. The Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1:00 PM on Wednesday at church. Entombment will be held at Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park.
