Janet Kay (Espenschied) Lowery, 72, of Springfield, IL passed away on Thursday November 7, 2024.
Janet was born in Springfield on May 30, 1952 the daughter of Harry and Frances (Buck) Espenschied.
She was preceded in death by her husband Loren Lowery; nephew, Bruce Campbell; and her parents.
Janet is survived by her sisters Lela Espenschied of Springfield; Barbara Espenschied of Springfield; and Virginia Taylor (husband, Robert) of Springfield, nephews, Brian Campbell (companion, Sheila) of Springfield, Jason Campbell (wife, Lindsey) of Springfield, and Ray Campbell of NC; great nieces, Jasmine Fromm (husband, Paris) of Springfield and Maddison Campbell of Springfield.
She was a very private person and she loved her family dearly. She will be greatly missed by those that knew and loved her.
Cremation services are being accorded and a visitation will be held on Friday November 15, 2024 at Ellinger-Kunz and Park Funeral Home, 530 North 5th Street Springfield, IL 62702 from 10:00 am till the time of the Memorial Service at 11:00am. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park where she will be laid to rest with her husband Loren.
Memorial donations may be made to the A.P.L. 1001 Taintor Rd, Springfield, IL 62702.
