Janet Luebke Obituary

Oconomowoc, WI - We sadly said goodbye to our mom, Jan Luebke, on May 18, 2025, at the age of 82. When she took her last breath on earth and her first breath in heaven, she was surrounded by her daughters Trish, Tammy and Tracie, sister Joan and sister-in-law Irene.

Mom was born on March 24, 1943, in Summit, Wisconsin to Wilbert and Evelyn Maasz (nee Neuman). Mom was Confirmed at St.Paul's on April 14, 1957. She attended Fort Atkinson High School where she graduated in 1961. She attended UW Whitewater and graduated with a teaching degree. She married Albert E. Luebke Jr. on July 20, 1963 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Fort Atkinson and moved to Oconomowoc, WI in 1965. She continued as a substitute teacher in many schools in the Oconomowoc school district, including St. Jerome's. She cherished watching her grandchildren and everything they did and participated in, especially baseball and softball games. She enjoyed playing cards, Rummikub, and reading cookbooks to find the perfect recipe to test out on the family!

Mom and Dad became members at St. John's Lutheran Church in Ixonia,WI in 1998 and were members until their deaths. She attended church and Bible class every Sunday until she went to assisted living. She had a strong faith and loved singing her praises to Jesus.
