Janet Mather Obituary
Passed away peacefully on Monday, July 31, 2023 at the Village of University Gates LTC, after struggling with dementia. She was 81.
Beloved wife and best friend of Chad for 58 years. Loving mother of Michael and Wayne. Cherished grandmother of Jack and Katie. Will be sorely missed by her daughter-in-law Andrea Smith.
Janet was a past president of the KW Maycourt Club. She enjoyed cruising and camping at their "retreat" on Miller Lake. Cremation has taken place with a celebration of life to be held at a future date.
The family would like to thank the caregivers at Matthews Long Term Care for all the tender love and care they provided. A special thank you to Abbey Sayles who formed a special bond with Janet and provided her comfort and friendship during her time at Matthews.
Donations to the KW Maycourt Club and the Alzheimer Society are appreciated and may be made through.

I worked with Janet for many years at Amy, Appleby & Brennan and remained good friends after. I have missed her. I´m sure she is now at peace. My condolences to the family.
