Janet Mae McCabe (née Dallman), age 81, passed away peacefully on December 22, 2025, in Wausau, Wisconsin, the city where she was born and spent her life.
Born on July 9, 1944, in Wausau, Janet graduated from high school and went on to build a life centered around love, family, and kindness. She was a devoted wife to Terry McCabe and a cherished mother to their children: Sherri (Jeff) Krueger, Cindi (Jeff) Gramling, Terry McCabe Jr., and Jodi (Tim) Boruch.
Janet found her greatest joy in spending time with her family. She especially treasured moments shared with her four grandchildren- Paige, Logan, Dylan, and Zachary- who brought light and laughter into her life. Her warmth and gentle spirit left a lasting impression on all who knew her.
She will be remembered as a loving wife and mother whose kindness touched the lives of many. May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her.
