Janet I. McGoron age 89 of Maineville, Ohio passed away Saturday June 22, 2024. She was born February 6, 1935 in Cincinnati, Ohio the daughter of the late Harold Voter Thomas and Fern Everhart Thomas. Mrs. McGoron worked as a secretary for the Sycamore School District. She greatly enjoyed spending time with her family especially attending her children and grandchildren's sporting events. She was a member of the Heritage Presbyterian Church in Mason. She is survived by her husband Dan McGoron; three children Mark (Therese) McGoron, Mike (Sue) McGoron, and Lori (Jeff) Philpot; seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. McGoron was also preceded in death by her brother Harold Thomas. Visitation on Friday June 28, 2024 at the Heritage Presbyterian Church, 6546 Mason-Montgomery Road, Mason, Ohio from 10:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 AM, with Pastor Jackie Pinkowski, officiating. A luncheon with the family will follow the funeral service followed by burial in Arlington Memorial Gardens in Mt. Healthy.
