Janet McCloud McIntosh, 82, of Marietta passed away on Saturday, September 27, 2025. She was born on September 1, 1943 in Marietta a daughter of Russell McCloud and Mary Scarbrough Cunningham Best.

Janet was a Marietta High School Graduate and retired from the Deli at Kroger's after 20+ years. She enjoyed playing Bingo, playing cards with friends, crossword puzzles and reading, but most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially with her grandkids and great grandkids.

On February 16, 1962, she married George "Butch" McIntosh who preceded her in death on July 11, 2018. She is survived by her daughters, Sherry McIntosh Payne, Mary (Mike) Hogan and Susie (Chad) Duvall; grandchildren: Bryan (Audra), Ricki Lynn (Darin), Leonna Sue (Tim), Thaddeus (Maggie), Alyssa (Eric), and Alex (Haylee), bonus granddaughter Megan; great grandchildren: Brylee, Hunter, Madelyn, Cooper, Rory, Jacobi and Violet. She is also survived by her brother Danny (Marissa) and half siblings: Mike, Dee, Kelly, Randa and Russell; special nephew Larry Lee (Paula).

She is preceded in death by several brothers and sisters and son-in-law Joe Payne.

Private services were held with burial in Rainbow Cemetery. McClure Schafer Lankford Funeral Home assisted the family and messages of sympathy may be sent at www.Lankfordfh.com.

A special "thank you" for the care given to Janet by Cawley Hospice and The Arbors Nursing Home, Division G.
