Janet M. McKeever

Janet Marie McKeever (nee Gargano,) age 82, of Philadelphia, passed away peacefully May 5, 2025 at home surrounded by loved ones.
Born December 28, 1942 in Philadelphia to the late Vincent and Eleanor Gargano, she was a loving wife to the late Gerald F. McKeever for 50 years.
She is survived by her children, Mark (Jessica) and Andrew,; her beloved grandchildren, Kira, Rowan and Braelyn; and her sister, Kathleen (James.)
A long time member of the Saint Jerome community, Janet taught 8th grade English for decades, instilling in her students a lifelong passion for reading and introducing many to her favorite book, "To Kill a Mockingbird."
A viewing, followed by Mass of Christian Burial, will be held Saturday, May 17, 2025 at St. Jerome Church located at 8100 Colfax Street, Philadelphia, Pa 19136. Viewing begins at 9:30 a.m. followed by mass at 11. Interment services will be held at Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, Langhorne, PA.
