Janet L. Pallaria, 86, of Canonsburg, formerly of Muse, passed away peacefully at 9:27 a.m. Wednesday, August 4, 2021, with her family by her side. She was born June 1, 1935, in Canonsburg, a daughter of the late William and Margret Henry Lytle.
Janet lived most of her life in the Muse and Canonsburg area and was a member of the Holy Rosary Church of the St. Oscar Romero Parish. She was a devoted homemaker who loved spending time with her family. Jan also enjoyed camping at Presque Isle in Erie and her little dog, Jingles.
On March 6, 1954, she married Michael "Rip" Pallaria, who passed away Sunday, January 8, 2012.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her three beloved daughters, Kathy Pallaria, with whom she made her home, Audrey (Robert) Rondinelli and Kimberly (Thomas) Erbrecht, both of Muse; four grandchildren, Jason and David Rondinelli, and Sarah and Zachary (Elizabeth) Erbrecht; great- grandchildren Jeremy, Michael, Evelyn, Annamia, Gabriel and Lexie; and several nieces and nephews. Jan was the last of her immediate family.
Deceased, in addition to her husband and parents, are two sisters, Evelyn Lytle and a sister who died in infancy; and two brothers, William "Bill" Lytle and Robert "Bob" Lytle.
Friends and family are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, August 5, in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services Inc., Joseph P. Salandra, LFD, owner/supervisor, 304 West Pike Street, Canonsburg, 724-745-8120, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, August 6.
Interment will take place, with her husband, in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Township.
