It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Janet A. Poston, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend, who departed this world on August 8, 2025 at the age of 89. Her long and remarkable life was a testament to strength, grace, and unwavering love-a legacy that will remain forever cherished by all who knew her.
Born in an era marked by change and resilience, she approached life with a gentle wisdom and compassion that lifted the spirits of everyone fortunate enough to cross her path. She was a guiding light to all who knew her, and her kindness, patience, and steadfast dedication shaped our family and anchored us through life's many storms.
Throughout her 89 years, her home was a haven of warmth, laughter, and comforting embraces. Her best years were her last 12; she loved being surrounded by her children and grandchildren, and she especially loved doting over her great grandchildren. Her generosity knew no bounds; she gave freely of her time, her heart, and her wisdom.
As we reflect together on her beautiful life, we feel her presence in our shared stories and in the bonds she helped forge. Though we grieve her loss, we take comfort in knowing her spirit continues to guide and inspire us-leading us through the stars, where she believed we will be together again.
