Janet Faith Potratz, 88, of Dubuque, Iowa, passed away on Monday, February 3, 2025.
A Celebration of Life is planned for a later date.
Survivors include her husband of 68 years, Ray; sons, Bryan of California, Curtis of Dubuque, and Michael (Rhonda) of Altoona; grandchildren, Taylor and Jaden Potratz; Sister, Mildred Crain of Lynchburg, VA.
Janet was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Marion Stillman.
Janet Faith Alton was born October 7, 1936, in Alpha, Iowa, the daughter of George and Irene (Harrington) Alton. On December 1, 1956, she married Ray Anthony Potratz in Iowa City, IA. Janet was a big Chicago Cubs baseball fan and would always have the game on TV. House cats were always prevalent throughout her life. She loved to go dancing with Ray and she loved to laugh. Janet was also quite active at couponing and refunding in her life. She will be missed.
