Janet Gruber Rouston

Janet Gruber Routson- age 79 of Lenoir City, passed away Saturday evening, November 11, 2023 at her home. She was a member of First Baptist Church Lenoir City. Jan retired from Thompson Cancer Survival Center following a successful and rewarding career as a radiation therapist for 52 years in Ohio and Tennessee.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Margaret Gruber; siblings: Anita Long, Gerry Mills and Tom Gruber; step-daughter, Liscia Shepherd.
Jan is survived by her husband and love of her life, Sonny Routson; children and spouses, Janet and David Thomas, Marc and Melissa Routson; grandchildren and spouses: Ashlee and Cory Frye, Haley Routson Nabors and Dennis Nabors, Ethan and Cloe Routson; great-grandchildren, Abigail, Bentley, River, Erin, and Natalie; step great-grandchildren, Corey, Hunter, and Sophie; sister, Margean Dennull; step-daughters: Karen Shepherd, Rhonda Sheets and Kathy White; along with several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will gather at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, November 14th in the Loudon County Memorial Gardens graveside services and interment. Pastor John Hunn will officiate.
