Janet Marie (Orsak) Schoenberg January 31, 1933 ~ April 14, 2013 Graveside services for Janet Marie (Orsak) Schoenberg, 80, of Pearland, are set for 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 18, 2013 at Oaklawn Cemetery in Somerville with Rev. Kenneth Klimple officiating. Interment will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery in Somerville. Mrs. Schoenberg died Sunday April 14, at Tuscany Village in Pearland, Texas. Janet was born January 31, 1933 in Snook, the daughter of Frank and Olga Orsak. She was a graduate of Snook High School and was a homemaker. She was described as a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Don Schoenberg in 1994; her son, Keith Schoenberg in 2012 and a sister, Winnie Mae Bertling in 2010. Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Don Clifford Schoenberg, Jr. of Houston, Wayne and Melissa Schoenberg of Kingwood, and Neal and Kim Schoenberg of Deer Park; her sister, Georgette Enquist of Snook; grandchildren, Amanda and her husband, Mauricio Ruiz, Jr. of Belton, Nicholas Schoenberg of Deer Park, Donny and his wife, Cindy Lyons of Austin, and Brandon and his wife, Caroline Lyons of Mulvane, Kansas; great-grandchildren, Ethan Ruiz of Belton, Lily Lyons, Hailey Lyons and Katelyn Lyons, all of Mulvane, Kansas; along with numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Family members have requested that memorials be made to Faith Community Hospice, 4721 Garth Road, Suite H, Baytown, Texas 77521. Arrangements have been entrusted to Strickland Funeral Home in Somerville.
