Janet R. Smith, 63, of Sandusky went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Thursday, May 8, 2025 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born May 15, 1961 in Sandusky, Ohio to the late Russell R. and Reva S. (Bond) Richardson.
Janet loved the Lord, and she loved her church. She was a member of Fathers Heart Family Church. She enjoyed reading and studying the Bible, listening to gospel music, going to Amish Country, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of almost forty years, Randall Anthony Smith, whom she married August 30, 1985; her children, Tonya (Jonathon) Smith and Jeffrey (Amanda) Smith; seven grandchildren, Jaleah, Chad Jr., Chloe, Peyton, Malaki, Avory, and Ashlynn; two brothers, Darvis (Laura) and Rick (Linda) Richardson; two sisters, Teresa (Greg) Smith, and Debra (Jewel) Tickles; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Friends may call Thursday, May 15, 2025 from 11am until the time of the memorial service at 12pm at Father's Heart Family Church, 2211 Mills St., Sandusky, Ohio 44870. Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave. Sandusky, Ohio 44870 is assisting the family with arrangements.
