Janet Strong Obituary
Janet's career reflected her strong work ethic and dedication. She spent many years with Coca-Cola and later Georgia-Pacific, where she was known for her reliability, professionalism, and warm spirit.
Guided by her Christian faith, she cherished time with her family and friends, finding joy in the simple moments that made life meaningful. Janet's legacy is one of faith, loyalty, and love-qualities that will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
She is survived by her husband William Joseph (Joe) Strong and sons Terry and Steven Strong, nieces Debbie Shemirani, Michelle Hampton, Janice Duennes, Susan Sandker, Judy Overbeck and Joyce McCord, grandchildren Mckenzie, Hannah, Stevie, Sami, Heather, Marshall, Jazmon, Courtney and A.J., and several great grandchildren. Janet is preceded in death by her son Anthony Strong, brothers Carl Gosney, Edwin Gosney, and sister Blanche Duennes.
Visitation will be held from 12 pm -1 pm on Friday, December 05, 2025, at Peoples Funeral Home in Butler, KY. Funeral service will follow at 1 pm, also at the funeral home. Janet's final resting place will be Butler Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society. Online condolences can be made at peoplesfuneralhomes.com.
