Carmela Farbo

Carmela Farbo July 16, 1922 - November 28, 2025

Carmela, 103, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 28, 2025.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Salvatore and Vicenza Magnelli, Brother Richard Magnelli, Aunt Dora Candelise, Son-in-Law Jerry Suthers, as well as numerous Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.

She is survived by her Son, Brad (Karen) Farbo, Daughter Beverly Suthers, Grandchildren, Jeff (Shannon Stein) Suthers, Lauren (Jesse) Craig, Brad (Kendace) Farbo, and Great Grandchildren, Jackson Craig, Olivia Craig, and Bray Farbo.

Carmela was an amazing, strong, independent women always thinking of her family before herself. We enjoyed years of Thanksgiving and Christmas Feasts cooked and prepared by her.
She was employed as Secretary at the Shrine of St. Therese Catholic Church for many, many years before retiring. When she was younger she was an avid bowler and was on many tournament leagues, which she received many trophies. She loved being outdoors tending to her lawn and her flowers. Playing cards with her friends and going to Cripple Creek were her favorite pastimes. But mostly, she loved spending time with family.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the staff at Life Care Center for their loving care for Mom, and to Hospice for their brief time with Mom.

Everyone who knew her was touched by her kindness and love.
She was a light to this world and will be sadly missed.
