Janet Tresca Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Shook Funeral Home, Inc. - Clifton on Jan. 1, 2026.
Janet L. Tresca, 88, of Clifton, passed away on December 30, 2025. Born in Passaic, she was a lifelong resident of Clifton.

A parishioner of Ss. Peter and Paul Polish National Catholic Church, Passaic, Janet served as the Financial Secretary and was a member of the Board of Trustees for many years. Before retiring in 2016, Janet was the office manager and bookkeeper for Kamienski Funeral Home in Wallington for 25 years. Janet also served as the Secretary-Treasurer for many years of the Women's Bowling League at Van Houten Lanes, Clifton, and was a former member of the Upper Montclair Country Club, Clifton.

Beloved wife of the late Martin Tresca who passed away in 1970. Devoted mother of Diane Tresca and her companion Al Di Benedetto, and Vincent Tresca and his wife Margaret. Loving grandmother of Ashley DiTondo and her husband Mark. Cherished great grandmother of Hailie. Dear sister of Peter Martin, and the late Barbara Diez, Betty Cresenta and Fred Hastick. Loving companion for over 40 years of John Condrick who passed away in 2013

Janet and her loving companion John would travel to Ireland every year, and then extend the trip to either Monte Carlo, Spain, or London. One year they flew the Concorde to London, they sailed aboard the 3 Queens, Queen Elizabeth, Queen Mary, and their last trip aboard the Queen Victoria. While not in Europe, their travels were to Las Vegas, San Francisco, and of course, Hawaii. John always told people that all you had to do was look at the albums Janet made after each trip and it was like reading a book or seeing a movie.

Visiting Friday, January 2, 2026, 4-8 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Funeral Saturday, January 3, 2026, 8:45 AM at the funeral home and 10 AM at Ss. Peter and Paul PNC Church, Passaic. Entombment, East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton.
