Passed away on March 16, 2023 at the age of 73. Cherished Mother of Andrea, Kevin and his wife Jen, Kris and his wife Erin. Loving Grammy of Hayden, Arlo, Hannah, Alice and Hugo. Brother to Rob and his wife Izzy. Janet was born at Victoria hospital in London ON, July 31, 1949 to Albert and Gertrude Miller and was raised in Dashwood, Ontario where her parents owned the general store with Edgar and Marie Restemayer. She was baptized and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church in Dashwood. She attended Dashwood Public School, South Huron high school in Exeter and did her post secondary at the university of Waterloo. Later in life she went back to school and graduated as a registered nurse where she worked in health care and as a Volunteer Coordinator until retirement. She was an accomplished pianist and accompanied numerous local choirs while in high school and later in life was the organist at Trinity Lutheran Church in Virgil. Janet loved to knit, crochet and tend to her garden. In honouring Janet's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at St. Catharines United Mennonite Church, 335 Linwell Road, St. Catharines. Memorial donations to Sick Kids Foundation would be appreciated.
