Memorial services celebrating the life of Mrs. Janette Jones Dumas, 88, of Mangham, LA will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday May 2, 2025, at the First Assembly of God Church in Mangham, LA with Rev. David Mosley officiating, under the care of Mulhearn Funeral Home in Rayville, LA.
Visitation for family and friends will be from noon until service time at the church.
Mrs. Dumas died April 25, 2025, at her residence surrounded by her two daughters.
Mrs. Dumas was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Mangham, LA. She enjoyed thrift shopping, reading the scriptures and watching a good western movie on GRIT. She loved the smell of roses and the sight of beautiful flowers growing. She knew the Lord and was dedicated to that relationship and she encouraged others to do the same.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Dumas of Farmerville; parents, James (Slim) and Mary Lee Warren; brothers, Carl Warren and Floyd Warren; sisters-in-law, Carolyn Lyles and Patricia Warren; nephew, Shawn Warren; and her favorite canine companion, Kasper.
Survivors: daughters and sons-in-law, Janet Lochbrunner and spouse, Brian, of Winnsboro, LA., Donna Tobia and spouse, Duke, of Rayville, LA.; four grandchildren: Christie Thompson and spouse, Ron, of Monroe, LA., Derrial Parker and spouse, Melissa, of Jigger, LA., Brandi McMurray and Brian McMurray of Rayville, LA.; seven great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to a favorite charity.
