Janey L. Black, 67, of Bedford, died on Friday, November 7, 2025 at her residence. She was born on May 7, 1958 in Cumberland, MD, a daughter of the late William L. and Ruth (Cessna) Miller. She is survived by her partner: Douglas Hagstrom of Bedford; a son: Jeremy Black and wife Jennifer of McKeesport; three grandchildren: Katlyn Tew and husband Cole of Abilene, TX, Ashlyn and Marlee Black of McKeesport; and a sister, Janice Hagerich and husband Paul of Bedford. She was preceded in death by a sister, Deborah Wertz and a brother, Michael “Bill” Miller.
Janey graduated from Bedford High School, class of 1976 and later worked at various restaurants in Bedford as a cook. She was fondly known as Nana to her children and grandchildren.
