Funeral services for Mrs. Janice Ethel Adams, age 81, will be held on Friday, March 14, 2025, at 2 p.m. in the Hunt Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Bradford Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be on Friday from 12 p.m. until service time.
Mrs. Janice, a retired Registered Nurse, was born in Bradford, TN, on March 24, 1943, and passed away at Memphis Jewish Home and Rehab in Cordova, TN, on March 7, 2025.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Adams; her parents, Clarence and Ruby Elizabeth Wright Stanfill; one brother, Poley Stanfill; and two sisters, Eloise Pruitt and Carolyn Jackson.
She is survived by her daughter, Mitzi Gentry of Cordova; one stepson, Tom (Amy) Adams of Paducah, KY; one stepdaughter, Sonya McKenzie of Sarasota Beach, FL; one grandson, Evan (Sloan) Gentry of Memphis; and one great-grandson, Everette Gentry of Memphis.
