Ms. Janice Louise Amerison was born on December 23rd, 1957, to L.S and Ethel (Dean) Amerison in Des Moines, IA.
Janice attended North High School in Des Moines, Iowa where she graduated and went on to work at Iowa Veterans Hospital.
Janice was a homemaker, where she loved to cook especially her famous potato salad, take care of her family, decorate her home which was always clean, hang out with friends, play cards, and go to bingo.
Janice enjoyed watching t.v. shows from the 70s and 80s, listening to old school R&B, spending time with her grandchildren, family and celebrating holidays. Janice loved when all the family would get together.
Janice was a woman of few words, but when you got to know her, you would also get to see her bubbly personality. She enjoyed sitting outside when the sun was beaming and cracking jokes on all the kids and grandkids.
Janice passed away on October 16th, 2024. She is preceded in death by her parents L.S and Ethel Dean Amerison, Her brothers Leroy Curl, Donald Cornell, sister Mary Amerison and granddaughter Mia Fidler.
Janice leaves behind her children; Nicole Amerison, Deondree Amerison, Terrance Amerison, Jeremy Amerison, Jennifer Amerison, Jerraun Amerison, Jerrica Amerison, and Brandon Beechum; grandchildren Kadejha, Darius, DaeVonna, DreVon, Kiara, Kobe, Adrian,Trevon, Keshawn, Jayden, Logan, Jayron, Javon, Caleb, Tynae, Naedricka, Kalayah, Dreshawn, and Brooklyn; sisters Debra Amerison, and Consandra Amerison; brother Dewayne Amerison; and host of great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
