Janice Orene Bartram, a cherished member of her family and community, passed away on December 1, 2025, at George C. Forsythe Hospice House in Auburndale. She was born on June 8, 1971, in Nelsonville, Ohio, Janice embraced life with warmth and joy.
Janice had a career as an Administrative Assistant for the Lakeland Institute of Learning. Known for her good parties, she had a knack for bringing friends and family together, creating memories that will linger in the hearts of those who shared those special moments with her. Over the years, Janice developed a deep bond with her family. She was especially close to her mother, Patsy Reynolds, and her grandmother, who played a significant role in introducing her to the Lord. This connection to her faith was a guiding light throughout her life.
Janice moved to Lake Wales from Mulberry three years ago. In her new home, she continued to indulge in her passions, including shopping, home improvements, and cooking in her beloved crockpots. A true pet lover, she was dedicated to the Polk County Bully Project, demonstrating her compassion for animals.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Charles Bartram; her children, Erica Holbrook and her husband Benjamin of Lake Wales, Kasia Hewitt and her husband Zachary of Lancaster, Ohio, and Gage Anderson of Lake Wales; her brother, Ray Harvey and his wife Courtney of Logan, Ohio and six beloved grandchildren. Her sweet dog, Belle, also brought joy and companionship to her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Patsy and Owen Reynolds.
A memorial service will be held 1 p.m., Friday, March 6, 2026, at the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan with Rev. Charles Fidler officiating. Inurnment will be in Knollwood Cemetery, Logan. Visitation will be held on Friday, from 11 a.m. until the time of her service.
