Janice Marie Bittick

Janice Marie Bittick, 77, of Fayetteville; passed away Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at Katherine's Place at Wedington. She was born Saturday, May 8, 1948, at Prairie Grove; to Kenneth Taylo rand Loreda Viola Jones Dotson.

Janice was first married to Gary D. Fulfer, and from that union was blessed with a beloved son. She later found love again and married Michael Eugene Bittick on Thursday, April 2, 1987, in Springdale. Janice devoted many years of service to hospitality at Northwest Medical Center and was a faithful member of Immanuel Baptist Church. She found simple joy in sitting on her front porch watching people pass by, and in observing the birds that visited her yard. Above all, Janice was a cherished friend and a loving and devoted mother. She held a very special place in her heart for her son, Gary. She was known for her kindness, gentle spirit, and warm smile that brightened the days of those around her. Janice loved Jesus and her church deeply, and she also had a special affection for her parakeet, Casper, who brought her much happiness.

Janice was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Bittick; and her parents, Kenneth and Loreda Dotson. She is survived by her son, Gary Fulfer, of Fayetteville; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Dale and Vicky Dotson, and Terry and Glenna Dotson, all of Huntsville. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, her close friends, Dan and Carla Dent; and her church family.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 17 at 1:00 PM, at Immanuel Baptist Church, in Springdale, with Pastor Ben Seewald officiating.

Cremation is entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory of Huntsville.
