It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Thomas Baker Bittick, at his residence in
Panama City, Florida. on September 23, 2025, at the age of 42.
Known affectionately as "Tom" to family, and as "Dirt" to friends he was born on July 27, 1983, in Panama City.
Thomas was a father, son, brother, and friend who touched the lives of everyone he met. He is survived by his two beloved daughters, Felicity and Trisha, who were the light of his life; His loving mother, Mary E. Bittick, his father David M. Bittick(deceased); His sister Jennifer (Scott) Langholff, his brother Raymond (Gloria) Bittick, siblings Sanda, Mike(Vicky), John(Angie) countless nieces and nephews and cousins.
Thomas was an awesome chef and worked in a great many fine restaurants for a time. His kitchen prowess extended to delicious meals and delights at home. While he stopped short of full certification as a chef it never hampered the flavor. (He still wouldn't give me his recipe for peanut butter cookies, that can only be described as divine to the taste buds.)
His creativity and skill in art, drawing and painting led him to find an outlet in cars. A skilled paint and body man, Thomas had a lifelong passion for cars. His hands, which brought cars to life, were also used to lift others up-whether with his infectious smile, his quick wit, or his unshakable loyalty to those he loved.
Thomas could light up any room he walked into, and when he loved you, he loved you with all of his heart. His warmth and generosity will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Family and friends are asked gather at Kent Forest Lawn Funeral Home at 2403 Harrison Avenue 32405 by 11:00 AM to accompany Thomas to his final resting place.
A celebration of Thomas's life will be held at Evergreen Memorial Gardens at 3733 US Hwy North 231, in Panama City on October 18, 2025, at 11:30 AM.
May his spirit continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew him.
