The Cafe was her pride and joy in serving the local communities in northern Minnesota. Her favorite time at the Cafe was always Deer hunting season in November. She enjoyed seeing all the hunters and feeding them. For several of the last years, Tia and Murph joined her to help and serve all the hunters. She retired from the Cafe at the age of 81 and sold the business in 2024.
