Janice Fay Drawdy, 74, of Marianna, Florida, died Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at Jackson Hospital.
She was born May 27, 1951, to Herbert and Ruby Jeter. She has lived most of her life in Jackson County. She loved to watch TV, and didn’t care what was on as long as the screen was big and the volume was up. She was a very tender and understanding person. She knew what she wanted and wasn’t scared to let you know what was on her mind.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robbie Drawdy, Sr; parents; siblings, Herman Jeter, Johnny Lamar “PeWe” Jeter, LoisAnn Heilman, and Tony Jeter.
She is survived by her daughter, Dawn Herndon; son, Shuler Bryant McKinnie; sister, Dodie Lipford (Donnie); daughter-in-law, Tammy Webb-McKinnie; grandchildren, Robert Thomas Hutchins, II, Joshua Wiley Blount, IV, Logan McKinnie, Kayla McKinnie, Paige McKinnie; and great-granddaughter, Violet McKinnie; stepdaughter, Sheila Buffinton; step son-in-law, Brad Locke; step grandchildren, Amanda Locke (Charles), Savannah Meola, Daniel Meola, Elaina Bush, Aubree Bush; step great-grandchildren, Marlie, Cheyenne and Dempsey Locke.
A memorial service will be at a later date. James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel in charge of arrangements.
