Janice was my boss at the Charlestown Lounge from 1968 to 1970, I always remember her watching a daytime soap opera Dark Shadows and telling us when she died she wanted that show taped and piped into her casket! She was always full of fun, and always offered me a job w hen she saw me. May God bless her soul.

I will miss you so much. I will miss our chats about family, old days, your good stories, your good advise, but mostly just being with you and enjoying your company. You were so special and such an amazing woman. I love you forever. My grand boys love you forever. Thankyou for always loving them and for their endless tin of cookies. They love so much and miss you. Thankyou Chris for taking the BEST CARE of this precious woman. In her own words, "Thank God for him." And thank you Chad for ALL you gave to this beautiful woman. She loved you so much. You both will be blessed for giving so much and expecting nothing. She deserved every niceness that she was given. This world has lost something so beautiful it cannot be replaced and my heart is broken knowing I won't see you again while I'm here. I will see again, with all the others who you have joined and be in peace as you are now. Tootleoooo

I worked at the Westerly YMCA at the same time Janice was there. She was really a nice lady.. we always ha a chat. Things that she encountered were sometimes hilarious. She worked very hard keeping areas sparkling.

I worked for Janice when she owned the general Stanton. I was a waitress.
Janice was a very hard worker!
When she and Sonny owned the Charlestown lounge, nobody gave her any trouble because she would´ve picked them up and threw them out!
We all respected her.
Rest in peace Janice

Janice was like a mom to me and held my hand during one of the most traumatic time of my life! I hold her in my heart and am externally grateful to her!
