Janice Gause Obituary
Born March 18, 1948, in Lake City, she was a daughter of the late Preston James Fennell and the late Loyis Prosser Fennell. She was a member of Smithville Pentecostal Church and retired from Mayewood High School.
Survivors include a son, James Gause (Bridgette) of Chapin; a daughter, Loretta Prescott (Rex) of Sumter; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Dianne Dennis; two brothers, Wallace Fennell and Johnny Fennell; and a special family friend, Janice "Mae" McCathern.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Herman Fennell.
A funeral service will be held at 12 P.M. Monday in the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Ronnie Morris, the Rev. Bobby Driggers, and the Rev. Rex Prescott officiating. Burial will be in the E.V. Gaskins Cemetery between Lake City and Johnsonville.
Pallbearers will be Lance Gause, Landry Gause, Adam Moysakis, Nate Williams, Ralph McCathern, and Casey Osteen.
The family will receive friends from 11 A.M. to 12 P.M. Monday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and other times at the home of Loretta and Rex Prescott, 1725 N. Main St.
Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and Crematorium of Sumter is in charge of the arrangements.
