Janice M. Hawk

Janice M. Hawk, 88, of New Milford, PA completed her work on earth on September 8, 2025. She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Rolland J. Hawk in June 2016; a daughter, Cindy Hawk in 2009; and a grandson, John Hawk in 2016. Janice is survived by three children, Rick (Vanessa) Hawk, Ron (Kelli) Hawk, and David (Michelle) Hawk; eleven grandchildren, Mike (Krissy), Matt, Mandi (Tony), Richie (Lori), Ryan (Stacey), Allison (Nick), Carissa (Chris), Natasha (Joe), Courtney (Gary), Jared, and Devin (Rachel); 17 great grandchildren; a sister, Delores Goff; a brother, Richard (Sandy) Button; a brother-in-law, Art Hawk; a sister-in-law, Maybelle and Doug Graves; and several nieces and nephews. Janice was a school bus driver for the Blue Ridge School District 43 years. She enjoyed cooking breakfast and dinner for the hunting party and bowled for a number of years. She was a member of the Franklin Hill Presbyterian Church. Her favorite pastime was family gatherings. She was a loving wife, excellent mother, adoring grandmother and great grandmother. The family wishes to express deep appreciation to Columbia Hose Company No. 1, Ambulance Service for their ready response and care and also to cousins Kathy and Kim for their assistance meeting mom's wishes to remain in her home. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at the Tuttle-Yeisley Funeral Home, Inc., Hallstead, PA. Interment will be made in Franklin Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 6-8 pm on Friday and Saturday morning from 10-11 am, prior to the service. Should friends so desire, expressions of sympathy may be made to Columbia Hose Company No. 1, P.O.
