Funeral services for Mrs. Janice Peavy Higgins, 74 of Winnsboro, LA will be 2 PM Wednesday December 17, 2025, at Dennard Funeral Chapel with Rev. Paul Perry officiating interment to follow in Harris Cemetery Crowville, LA visitation will be 5-7 PM Tuesday December 16, 2025, at the funeral home. All under the direction of Dennard First National Funeral Home.

Janice was a homemaker always caring for those around her she was preceded in death by her parents Ollie Peavy and Mary Bell McGraw Peavy, her husband, Charles Ray "Bubba" Higgins, Jr., a brother, Gerald Peavy, sisters Lois Peavy and Ludie McKenzie.

She is survived by her daughter, Dana Talbert of Winnsboro, LA; sister, Linda Peavy also of Winnsboro, LA; brother Archie Peavy of Plaquemine, LA , and like a daughter to her Lola Thornton of Winnsboro, LA, two grandchildren, Daniel Talbert and wife Kristen of Wisner, LA, and Marshall McMahon of Winnsboro, LA; three great grandchildren, Kaisen Talbert, Blair Talbert, Aria McDaniel, and several nieces and nephews and many friends.

Pallbearers will be Charlie Wiltshire, Jr., Trip Wiltshire, Chase Wiltshire, Jim Thornton, Matthew Hedrick, and Gabriel Braswell.

Honorary Pallbearer will be Ricky McKenzie
