Lisa McCain Magee

Funeral services for Lisa McCain Magee, 65, of Wisner, LA, will be 2 pm Sunday, February 8, 2026, in the chapel of Dennard First National Funeral Home, Winnsboro, LA, with Rev. Robert Magee and Rev. Jeff Clark officiating. Interment will follow in Oakley Cemetery. Visitation will be 1 pm until time of service at the funeral home.

Lisa was born October 30, 1960, in Natchez, MS, to the union of the late David Leon McCain and Juanita Maxine Beasley McCain and passed from this life on February 4, 2026, at her home in Wisner.

Lisa was a member of First Baptist Church, Wisner; she had a master's in education and taught for 28 years. Lisa enjoyed spending time taking care of her animals, flowers, working in her yard and especially the time she spent with her three granddaughters.

She is preceded in death by her father.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 33 years Danny Hughes Magee, Jr.; her two children: Russell Scott Moore and wife Victoria, Walker David Magee and wife Meredith; three granddaughters: Charlotte Moore, Blair Moore, and Georgia Magee; her mother, Juanita McCain; one brother, John David McCain and wife Michelle; numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be John Carroll, Dalton Corbett, Davis Corbett, Tim Ford, John Luke McCain, and Josh McCain.
