Funeral services for Luney Bell Davis Beach of Wisner, LA will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday, January 29, 2026, in the chapel of Young's Community Memorial in Winnsboro, LA with Bro. Thomas Peoples officiating. Interment will follow at South Central Cemetery in Wisner under the direction of Young's Community Memorial. The family will receive friends for visitation on January 29, 2026, from 12:00 PM until time of service at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Cedrick Hunt, Billy Beach, Jay Beach, Pastor Garrison Griffith, and deacons of First Baptist Church of Wisner.

Luney, age 81, was born on December 10, 1944, in Wisner, LA. She passed away at LSU Ochsner's in Shreveport, LA, on January 19, 2026, due to an injury from a fall at her residence. Two family members were by her side.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Mary Letha Davis and Earnest "Tater" Davis, her, son, William Gerald "Jerry" Beach, Jr; three sisters, Mary Dean Yarborough, Betty Baxter and Nelda Gaye Nielsen; three brothers, Willie Earnest "Bill" Davis, Thomas Albert "Tom Boy" Davis, and Ralph Edward "Hobo" Davis.

Luney was a member of First Baptist Church, Wisner, LA. She loved listening to Southern Gospel music and the Jimmy Swaggart Ministries. She loved eating out at any Mexican restaurant and reminiscing about her cotton-picking days on the farm, travelling to different places in America, RV'ing, and attending the CMA Awards in Burbank, CA.

Luney was a full-time homemaker. During her life, she sold Avon and worked part-time for West Brothers for several years in Vidalia. She provided care for twenty-two children at one time. Cooking meals was her specialty. She shared with her family and friends in her apartment complex where she resided for 20 years. She will be remembered for her home-made chicken and dumplings, spaghetti and meat sauce, gumbo, and turkey and dressing and she always enjoyed people that admired her freshly painted fingernails.

Luney loved her sons very much and was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by her sons, Scott Ray Beach of Franklin, TN, and Darin Beach (Betty Sue), of Wisner, LA; one brother, Paul Ray Davis (Sharon) of Sicily Island, LA; one sister, Bobbie Davis Vaughn of Alpharetta, GA; five granddaughters, Stephanie Beach, Hannah Savage, Becca Beach, Molly Beach, Lauren Beach; and one grandson, Payton Beach. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She will be missed by all who loved and knew her.

Special thanks from our family to her caregiver of 5 years, Sabrina Parker. Her time, effort, and special care given day or night were remarkable. Close friends, Dorothy, Cedrick, and Lula Mae showed love, and were available when needed, heard cries for help and saved her life at times when our family could not do so. Thanks also to the staff at MedCentris Wound Healing Institute, Rayville, LA. for the professional care, kindness, and compassion provided. The Beach family will always be grateful for each loving deed and the difference you made in the life of our loved one.
