Billy Wayne Taylor

Funeral services for Billy Wayne Taylor, 68, of Wisner, LA will be 10 am Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at South Central Baptist Church Wisner, LA, with Elvis Taylor and Gerald Taylor officiating under the direction of Dennard First National Funeral Home, Winnsboro, LA. Interment will follow in South Central Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 – 7 pm Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at the church.

Billy Wayne was born April 21, 1957, in Winnsboro to the union of the late Arthur Elige Taylor and the late Juanita Beatrice Warbington Taylor and passed from this life on January 30, 2026, in Jackson, MS.

Billy Wayne enjoyed spending his time fishing, playing video games, reading cowboy books, and watching cowboy movies; his hearts desire was to visit the wild west. He loved all kids especially his nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Jeanette Edwards; one brother, Willis F. "Sonny" Taylor; one brother-in-law, C. W. Evans; and one sister-in-law Joanne Taylor.

Those left to cherish his memory include his siblings: Arthur Ray Taylor and wife Daisy, Bernice Taylor Evans, Fred Taylor, Gerald Taylor and wife Delinda, Billie Jean Bass and husband Robert, Elvis Taylor and wife Tonya, Angel Knox, Johnny Taylor and wife Maribel, and Betty Swillie and husband Chris; a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.

His nephews will be serving as pallbearers.
