I knew Janice from Rutherford where we both grew up. We didn't really hang out together back then, but we connected with each other about 6 yrs ago while doing a volunteer event for Mid Penn Bank, where we both worked at that time. I really enjoyed talking with Janice and reminiscing about our childhood in Rutherford. She was so sweet and easy to talk with and I'm so glad that we had that time together to share our special memories! I know that we will meet again someday.

My first memory of who would eventually become Aunt Jan was receiving the gift of a book of paper doll cutouts that came with a recipe for the best molasses cookies ever. As a young child, I really appreciated her willingness to be playful!
I remember her gift for asking thoughtful questions as well as her genuine interest in the answers. Her devotion to her family was an inspiration to me and a real gift to those in her life.
She will be missed
