Mrs. Janice Kaye (Asher) Howard, 69, of Uniontown, KY, passed away Friday, November 28, 2025 surrounded by her loving children.

Janice loved to garden, cook, drive heavy equipment and coal mining. She especially loved Christmas.

She is survived by her children, Becky Howard (John) of Uniontown, Mary Loveless (Randy) of Marion, Bobby Howard (Kayla) of Uniontown, Melissa Howard Lee of Knoxville, TN, and Jimmy Lee Howard of Lexington; grandchildren and great grandchildren, Payton and Paige Snyder; Brock (Trista) Langston, Kayson Pierson, Zane McBride, Andrea Loveless-Stone (Cory), Tanner McBride, Landon Thomas, Lilee Loveless, Haydn Jones, Brody Jones, Ross Lee, Seth Lee, Westley Meadows; Isabella, Rosie, and Lola Howard, Craeton Sandoval; Everett, Delaney, and Caroline Snyder; and special cousin, Kathy Hazelwood (Walter).

Janice was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Howard; sister, Vickie Meuth; and her parents, Robert Lee and Dorothy Edna (Todd) Asher, Jr.

Memorial services will be Friday, December 5, 2025, at 6 PM, in the chapel of Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services, 212 East Main Street, Salem, KY.

Friends may visit with the family on Friday, December 5, 2025, from 4 to 6 PM at the funeral home.
