Janice Jansky Obituary
JANICE C. JANSKY (BROWN)
Age 81 previously of Frankfort and current resident of Marian Village in Homer Glen, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, January 17th, 2025 at RUSH University Medical Center in Chicago.
Janice is survived by her loving family, husband, Norman Jansky, children, Michael (Karen) Phillips Sr., Norbert (Valerie) Phillips Jr., Brian (Kim) Phillips, step-sons, Kenneth (Julie) Jansky, Robert (Chriss) Jansky, siblings, Ray (Caroline) Brown, J.C. (Audrey) Brown, half siblings, Linda Brown, Howard Maag, grandchildren, Michael (Nicole) Phillips Jr., Scott Phillips, Payton Phillips, Reagan Phillips, Jessica Phillips, Jacob Phillips, Gianna Jansky, Andrew Jansky, Gavin Jansky and Thomas Jansky.
Janice was preceded in death by her parents, William & Martha Brown (Polacek) and brother Robert Brown.
Janice retired from COMED and greatly enjoyed Bingo, playing cards, computer games and spending time with her family and close friends.
Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Sunday, January 26th, 2025 from 2:00 PM until time of the funeral service at 6:00 PM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Brain Tumor Association or St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
