Janice Faye Marrou

Janice Faye Marrou, 74, of Beaumont, died Tuesday, July 11, 2023. Born in Houston on December 11, 1948, she is preceded in death by her parents, Willie Marrou and Evelyn (Hoehne) Marrou. She was a loving daughter, sister and aunt. As an educator for almost forty years, Janice had a passion for teaching History and English and was admired by many of her students.
Survivors include her three siblings, Thomas Marrou, and his wife, Joyce, of Edmond, Oklahoma; Betty (Marrou) Scardino, and her husband, Gary, of Carmine; and Glenda (Marrou) McDougal, of Cedar Park; and six nieces and nephews whom she enjoyed spending time with.
A graveside service for Ms. Marrou will be at 1:00 p.m., on Friday, August 11, 2023, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 4955 Pine Street, Beaumont. Her cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard's Crematorium, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard's, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
