Mercogliano Jr. and his wife Joan of Somerville, Michael Mercogliano and his wife Evelyn of Revere, John Mercogliano of Reading, and Melissa Mercogliano of Boston. She was the adored grandmother of Nicholas and Rachael Mercogliano and the loving great-grandmother to Luke. Janice was the dear sister of the late Raymond O' Handley Jr. and his surviving wife Barbara and his surviving former wife Betty, the late Robert "Bobby" O' Handley and his surviving wife Sheila and the late Debbie Holmes and her late husband's Edward Holmes and Robert Daley. Janice was the daughter-in-law of the late Philomena and Michael Mercogliano Sr. and the sister-in-law to the late Rose (Mercogliano) and Tony Tricca Sr. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Janice's funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, MA, on Wednesday, January 29, at 8:45AM, followed by a funeral Mass in St. Leonard Church, 320 Hanover St., Boston, at 10AM.
