Together Again - Janice Miller, 80 of Sugarcreek passed away January 30, 2026. She was the daughter of the late Reno and Eleanora (Gerber) Gasche. On October 23, 1965, she married Mel, who proceeded her in death on June 12, 2021. Surviving are her children Darlene (Brent) Stein of North Carolina and Ryan (Jennifer Troyer) Miller of Michigan, her grandchildren Caleb Stein (Cassie Cunningham), Deacon Miller and Grady Miller, sisters Carol McConnell and Marge Limbacher, brother Glenn (Pam) Gasche, sister-in-law Amanda Miller, several nieces, and nephews. She was proceeded in death by brother John Gasche and her niece Amy Limbacher.

She graduated in 1963 from Warsaw High School. After finishing business college, she began working for East Ohio Gas and Snyder Brothers Sales & Service. She was a lifelong member of Walnut Creek Mennonite Church. In her spare time, she enjoyed volunteering at Walnut Creek Mennonite Church, Save-and-Serve and Alpine Hills Museum, golfing, her church ladies group, traveling with her family, being Nana to her grandsons, and cleaning. Services will be held Thursday, February 5th at 11 am, with visitation 1 hour prior at the Walnut Creek Mennonite Church with burial to follow in the Church Cemetery. Paster Charlie Grimes is officiating. Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 4-7 pm at the Smith-Varns Funeral Home in Sugarcreek. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial contributions should be made to Walnut Creek Mennonite Church PO Box 182, Walnut Creek, Ohio 44687 or Alpine Hills Museum 106 W. Main Street, Sugarcreek, Ohio 44681.
