Janice Ann Morrow

Janice Ann Downey Morrow, 77, of Rutherfordton, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on June 3, 2025. She was a devoted member of Fellowship Holiness Church in Spindale, where her faith was a guiding light throughout her life.
Janice was preceded in death by her parents, Julius Walter Downey and Christine Mary Lou Ferguson Downey, as well as her brother, Billy Ray Ferguson.
She is survived by her daughters, Marie Morrow Lewis and Regina Randall; and son, Shannon Downey (Dale) and her husband Tommy Morrow She also leaves behind her brother, David Downey (Jane), and sister, Judy Downey Martin.
Janice was a proud and devoted grandmother to Steven Downey, Abigail Lewis, Alexis Lewis, Eden Randall, and Emery Randall. She is also remembered fondly by many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. Her lifelong friend, Kathy Owens, held a special place in her heart and life.
Janice found joy in simple pleasures-keeping a tidy home, spending time outdoors in her yard, and sharing love with her family and friends. She was a faithful wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and a friend to many. Her church family meant the world to her, and she found great joy in worship and fellowship.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at Fellowship Holiness Church in Spindale, with Rev. Chad Sisk officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
