Janice Ann Nagy Nielsen, born on July 22, 1948, in Pennsylvania, passed away on November 24, 2025, in Palm Harbor, Florida. She was a beloved wife to Anthony Nielsen and a devoted mother and grandmother to her daughter, Samantha Feitz and her husband Joseph, of Peoria, Arizona, and son, Christopher Bell and partner Angela Engle of New Orleans, Louisiana and two grandchildren, Charlotte, and Eric. Janice will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Janice held a Bachelor's Degree from Penn State University and was an avid supporter of the Nittany Lion football team. Beyond her varied career in teaching, financial services and other fields, Janice was passionate about her hobbies, which included reading, knitting, painting and cooking. She was a devoted "dog mom" owning a St Bernard, Newfoundland and Labrador Retrievers over her lifetime. She also enjoyed crossword puzzles, often challenging herself as well as her family and friends each week with the New York Times Sunday puzzle.

Her laughter, creativity, and warmth leave an unforgettable impression on her family and friends. Janice's fond memories will forever be cherished by those who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Following her wishes, Janice's remains will be cremated, and her family will hold a celebration of her life at a date to be determined.
