Our beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, Janice Kathryn Sealey, left this world for her heavenly home on August 19, 2025, at the age of 73. Mom had a way of attracting people to herself like a moth to a flame. Her solution to every crisis was a cup of coffee and a good laugh. In her younger years, she loved to bowl, play Bingo, and game on different consoles and tablets.

Born to James and Kathryn West on October 30, 1951, in Columbus, Ohio, she was the second oldest of four siblings: James (Vickie) West, Linda (Mark) Hager, and John (Rita) West. She was preceded in death by her parents, her older brother James, and her husband of 44 years, John Sealey.

Janice leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and the perfect potato soup recipe. She is survived by her children Lori (Rick) Rush and Tracy (Mathew) Lush; her eight grandchildren Thomas, Jonathan, Andy, Kaylee, Matthew, Courtney (Blake) Frey, Spencer, and Alyssa; several great-grandchildren; her special friend Warren Meadows; and her lovable dog Buddy.

Friends and family may gather to honor Janice's memory on Monday, September 1, 2025, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, 1106 Park Avenue East, Mansfield. A celebration of her life will follow at 12:00 pm with Pastor Hareldo Miller officiating.
