Janice Faye Smith, 80, of Gulfport, MS passed away on Monday, March 3, 2025, in Gulfport.
She was born on February 4, 1945, in Dadeville, AL. She was employed at Best Western in Gulfport for 20+ years until it was destroyed by Katrina. Janice loved thrift shopping and garage sales. She especially loved jewelry. It didn’t matter what kind; she loved it all.
Janice was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Irma Patterson and her stepfather, Clint Foreman; her son James M. Smith; her sister, Patricia Weldon and her brothers, Crayton C. Patterson and Gary D. Patterson.
She is survived by her sons; Timothy W. Smith, George C. Smith (Delynda) and Michael S. Smith (Dusti); her daughter, Gwendolyn J. Urbati (Michael); 14 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren 3 great great grandchildren
Visitation will be Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. at Bradford O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15452 O’Neal Road, Gulfport, MS.
