In Loving Memory of Janice Spindle

November 11, 1931 – August 28, 2025

Janice passed away peacefully on August 28, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and generosity. Janice was born and raised in Colorado. She was married to her beloved husband, Bob Spindle, for 60+ years - a partnership built on love, laughter, and shared dreams. Together, they owned and operated Country Club Furniture here in Denver.

Through her life, Janice attended and anchored her life around McCarroll Bible Church; she gave to the community as a Sunday School teacher, and she played piano and organ for as long as her body would allow. In her personal life, she loved horses, gardening, and music. She taught many children to play the piano, and for years, she'd listen to her baby grand piano serenade her from the living room. And, Janice loved her family. She never missed a mother's day, father's day, a birthday, or maybe even a flag day, as an opportunity to pull everyone together.

She was preceded in death by Bob and her cherished daughters, Joye Miller and Patti Jo Spindle.

Janice is survived by her loving daughter, Roberta Myers (Jim), and her grandchildren: Mandy Parkins (Lee), Kelli Korn, Shelly Katzer (Josh), Justin Miller (Lissa), and Staci Jost (Jonny). She also leaves behind her great-grandchildren: Jade, Nora, Skylar, Sloan, Harper, and Summit.

A viewing will be held at Fairmount Cemetery on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at 10:00 AM, followed by a service at 11:00 AM. A lunch reception will take place at 1:00 PM at McCarroll Bible Church, where friends and family are invited to gather, share memories, and celebrate Janice's life.
