Janice Feltman Taylor, age 82 of Canon, Ga., passed away peacefully on August 11, 2023 at St. Mary's Sacred Heart Hospital in Lavonia.
She was born on June 11, 1941 in Fairplay, SC to the late Robert Stewart Feltman and Lilah Matheson Feltman. She was a retired high school teacher with Franklin County Schools and loved gardening, square dance and working with her Garden Club as well as the Hart County Botanical Gardens.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her spouse, Zen Greenlee; and her brother Dale Feltman.
Left to cherish her memories are her daughters Frances Sharon Taylor and Alice Marie Fetuao both of Canon, GA; son Tracy Stewart Taylor of Abingdon, VA; her brother Harry Feltman of Chatsworth, GA and 6 grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Monday August 14, 2023 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Coile and Hall Funeral Directors. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday August 15, 2023 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors with Pastor Chris Chitwood of Lavonia First Baptist Church officiating. The family will also receive friends from 1:00-2:00 PM prior to the service.

Jan was a great role model. She always had a smile and something kind to say. I will always have fond memories of buying produce from her stand, and talking to her.
